The WWFF Award system

If you are into collecting 'wallpaper', then the WWFF program is for you.  There are a multitude of award certificates available.

There are 2 types of awards within  the WWFF program.....

  • Global awards
  • National awards

The WWFF global program offer a number of global awards, which are all available for free as PDF files.  The awards are available exclusively through WWFF Log Search.

For more information on the global awards, please see the WWFF global website.
And then most of the National programs also offer their own National award certificates.  Not all, but many.  This includes Australia (the VKFF program), which has a wide range of certificates on offer.

Log Search

Log Search is the electronic database for the WWFF program.

ALL awards are applied for exclusively via Log Search.

How to apply for WWFF Global awards?

As mentioned, Global WWFF Awards are applied for via Log Search.

How to apply for VKFF Awards?

VKFF Awards will only be awarded via WWFF LogSearch.

Please do NOT send handwritten applications, excel spreadsheets, emails, etc.  They will NOT be accepted.  All applications must be done electronically via LogSearch.

Please check your Hunter statistics on LogSearch to see how many park activators you have worked.  Those park activators that you have worked (who have provided their logs to the Australian WWFF co-ordinator) will show up on your stats list.

Contacts with other park activators who have not provided their logs for upload to WWFF LogSearch will not count towards VK

Where do I apply for the VKFF Awards?

From your Statistics page, click on 'Nationa Awards'.

This will bring you to the National Awards page, and show you what National Awards you are entitled to apply for.

What happens after I apply for a VKFF Award?

Once you have applied online via WWFF LogSearch for a VKFF (AUSTRALIAN) award, the VKFF Team (State & Territory reps) and the National co-ordinator Paul VK5PAS will receive an auto generated email from the LogSearch system advising that you have applied for a specific award certificate.

You in turn will receive an auto generated email thanking you for applying for the award.

The relevant State/Territory co-odinator then enters the 'Manage Awards' area on LogSearch and either 'approves' or 'rejects' your pending award application.

If approved, you will then receive an auto generated email from Andrew M0YMA, the LogSearch Administrator, which will state....

"We are pleased to notify you that the Award Manager has approved the award of.....Your certificate will follow shortly"

The award certificate will then be sent to you as a PNG file by the relevant State/Territory representative.

What if I missed a level?

If you have missed a certificate, then please drop me an email to Paul VK5PAS, the National Co-ordinator.  He will forward you the level/s you have skipped.

vk5pas@wia.org.au
Please allow up to 2 weeks for turn around of award certificates.

Please DO NOT send the National Co-ordinator or the State/Territory reps an email after 24 hours asking where your certificate is.  This is a hobby, not a business.
