RESULTS - 2019

The 2019 VKFF Team Championship took place on Saturday 26th October 2019.  This was the fourth year that the event had been held.  The aim was to promote the World Wide Flora Fauna (WWFF) program. 

In 2019 a total of 7 teams took part.

The following teams took part during the 2019 team event.....
  • 'The Tassie Devils' - Helen VK7FOLK and Jonathan VK7JON.
  • 'The VK4 WIPeouts' - Mark VK4SMA & Murray VK4MWB.
  • 'The Walkie Talkies' - Paul VK5PAS and Marija VK5FMAZ.​
  • 'QRS Dot Dash' - Ian VK5CZ and David VK5PL.
  • 'The VK4midables' - Rob VK4SYD and Scott VK4CZ.
  • 'TechoGeeks' - Sue VK5AYL and Richard VK5ZNC.
  • 'QRParktivators' - Gerard VK2IO and Alan VK2MG.

A breakdown of contacts for each team is as follows.....

  1. 'The Tassie Devils' - Helen VK7FOLK and Jonathan VK7JON - 17 QSOs (General section).
  2. 'The VK4 WIPeouts' - Mark VK4SMA & Murray VK4MWB - 49 QSOs (General section).
  3. 'The Walkie Talkies' - Paul VK5PAS and Marija VK5FMAZ - 157 QSOs (40/80m section).​
  4. 'QRS Dot Dash' - Ian VK5CZ and David VK5PL - 70 QSOs (40/80m section).
  5. 'The VK4midables' - Rob VK4SYD and Scott VK4CZ - 69 QSOs (40/80m section).
  6. 'TechoGeeks' - Sue VK5AYL and Richard VK5ZNC - 25 QSOs (40/80m section).
  7. 'QRParktivators' - Gerard VK2IO and Alan VK2MG - 82 QSOs (QRP section).

Each amateur who participated as an activator in the event will receive a participation certificate which features a photograph of the Swan Reach Conservation Park in South Australia (photo taken by VK5PAS).

The winner of this section was 'The VK4 Wipeouts', comprising Mark VK4SMA & Murray VK4MWB.

​They will each receive a glass etched trophy and a winners certificate which features a photo of a mob of kangaroos taken by VK5PAS.

Winners - Two ops/single tx/40m & 80m/wire antenna/100 w or less

The winner of this section was 'The Walkie Talkies, comprising Marija VK5FMAZ and Paul VK5PAS.

​They will each receive a glass etched trophy and a winners certificate featuring a photograph of sunset at the Wyperfeld National Park, taken by VK5PAS.
