VI4VKFF and VI4WWFF
What are the calls about?
The special event call signs of VI4VKFF and VI4WWFF have been issued for use between Saturday, 24th October 2026 and Sunday, 8th November 2026, to be used in celebration of the 2026 VKFF National Get Together.
VI - special prefix issued for national, international, state/territory or local significance
4 - signifies the 4th year that the VKFF National Get Together has been held

Conditions of use
The callsigns will be allocated to amateurs to use only during VKFF park activations.
The callsigns will be allocated for a 24-hour period (for a calendar day - midnight to midnight).
The use of either of the callsigns is limited to two occasions for each amateur at this stage. This is to give as many amateurs as possible the opportunity of getting on air from a VKFF park with the special event callsigns.

What to do if you wish to use the calls
If you wish to use the callsigns, please send an email to the VKFF Team at [email protected] nominating:
a. which call you wish to use
and
b. the date of your VKFF activation/s.

Your obligations
Important.
All users of VI4WWFF and VI4VKFF MUST abide by their Class licence conditions, e.g. if you are a Foundation operator, your maximum transmitter output power is 10 watts PEP, and you may only operate on 80, 40, 15, 10, 2m and 70cm.

What to do at the end of your park activation/s with the call/s.
Send your log/s in the normal fashion to your relevant State/Territory Rep. Please also ensure to cc [email protected] as statistics will be maintained on the use of the calls by Paul VK5PAS, the VKFF National Co-Ordinator.
