VKFF RULES
All participants are expected to be fully aware of the VKFF rules and are expected to adhere to the rules.
The VKFF rules govern the operation within Flora and Fauna areas in Australia.  The VKFF rules have priority over the WWFF General Rules, which apply to DXCC entities that are not covered by a National program.

The rules for VKFF are quite simple:-

  1. If you are an activator, ensure you are in a qualifying VKFF reference area.  Only qualifying VKFF reference areas are valid for the VKFF program.
  2. As an activator, ensure that you are within the park boundary and that access is allowed.
  3. Valid contacts will include an exchange between the activator and the hunter of their respective call signs, a signal report, and wherever possible the VKFF reference number.
  4. Repeaters, IRLP, Echolink are not allowed.
  5. The use of webSDR's as a Hunter is generally not allowed (see rules for full details).
  6. The use of amateur satellites is allowed.
  7. Mobile operation is allowed.
  8. Relays are not allowed.
  9. Activators can only activate one reference at a time (please see the VKFF rules).
  10. Contacts with other activators within the same reference are not valid.
  11. QSL cards are not required.
