From the 30/12/2017 issue of the Advertiser digital edition.
A new park, and some additions (here in VK5). "A NEW conservation park has been created on Yorke Peninsula and three existing sites in the Adelaide Hills and South East have been extended, adding more than 1000ha to the parks network. The new Thidna Conservation Park, on southern Yorke Peninsula, protects 857ha of remnant native vegetation in a landscape. Thidna is an Aboriginal word meaning “foot” and comes from its position at the end of the peninsula. Sturt Gorge Recreation Park in the southern suburbs has nearly doubled in size with the addition of 190ha of revegetated land at Craigburn Farm. Black Hill Conservation Park, next to Morialta, has had 53ha added to its northwest boundary. In the South-East , Butcher Gap Conservation Park has grown by 74ha." I will arrange for a VKFF number & 5CP number for Thidma. 73 and HNY 2018, Paul VK5PAS.
