How to work activators
Listen out on the recommended WFF frequencies, e.g. 7.144. 14.244. In Australia 7.090 and 14.310 are often used by park activators.
Other than tuning across the bands and hoping to come across a WWFF activator, there are some excellent resources which can assist you.
The first is parksnpeaks. This is a spotting and alerting website, created by Allen VK3ARH.

Next is WWFFWatch, created by Dammy ON4VT and Mario DL4MFM.
Don't forget to SPOT the activator
After you have worked the activator, don't just turn the radio off and walk out the shack. PLEASE take the time to spot the activator. Not only will you be assisting the activator, but you will also be helping out your fellow park hunter.
