VKFF BOOMERANG AWARD.

The Boomerang Award is designed to promote park hunters logging the same VKFF reference a number of times.  The award also rewards park activators who activate the same reference on multiple occasions.

Notes re the award

**Please note..........

'activated' means 10 QSOs required per activation.

The UTC rollover does not count for this award as a separate activation.  An activation must be separated by a 24 hour period.

The 10 QSOs as an activator must be made on a specific date.  Not spread across the UTC rollover.

The award is retrospective, so start adding up parks from your old logs.

The award is not yet supported by WWFF Logsearch.  Please send all applications (spreadsheet) to the VKFF co-ordinator via email.
The best way of applying for the award is to follow these instructions.....

Hunter.
  • Go to Logsearch on the global wwff.co website
  • In your Summary Stats click on Hunter
  • Then click on QSOs
  • This brings up all of your hunter QSOs.  Click on Download.
  • This will develop a spreadsheet (logsearch.csv) for you listing all of your hunter QSOs.
  • With your spreadsheet open, click on Data and then Sort your references.
  • Delete all of the QSOs which are not VKFF references.
  • Highlight the references you have worked five times (on five different dates - 24 hours apart).
