ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Kara Kara National Park VKFF-0629 - in 2012, the St Arnaud Range National Park became known as the Kara Kara National Park.​  The name of the range commemorates the French Marshal Jacques Leroy de Saint-Arnaud (1798-1854).
• Mount Eccles National Park VKFF-0345 - in April 2017 the Mount Eccles National Park became known as the Budj Bim National Park.  In 1836 Major Mitchell named it Mount Eeles after William Eeles of the 95th Regiment of Foot who fought with Mitchell in the Peninsula War.  It was a draftsman's error and a misprint which gave us the present name.
